As an example of what is going on I've taken a post from a blog which perfectly describes my problem. It is not specific to any program it happens ALL THE TIME and is very frustrating. I have to save my work and close the program and restrart in order to fix the problem. Read below for an exact description: "Keystrokes get Crossed - The keystrokes get messed up after a while. I still haven’t figured out a logical course of how this error comes along - which software causes it, or what keystrokes cause it etc. But, it gets quite annoying when / returns the e with an accent at the top (the French accented e), and { returns a blank while } returns a `. I get '...time out..' anytime I ping XPWindows SP2 from my VistaHomeP. I can ping and share from XP to Vista Have disabled both firewalls( XP has WIdnows Fwall, Vista has Norton ).. Windows Fwall is disabled on Vista as Norton running anyway also tried + hunted down solutions such as registry settings (ref //support/.microsoft.com/kb/913628 )..
