Always Look at the expiry dates of your medicine/drugs

March 31st, 2007 by Jeff Kee | Rants | leave a response, or trackback

So the other day I was cleaning my room, and in my drawer, I found one of those blink & clean eyedrops. My eyes were kinda dry at teh moment so i put some in.

The next day I woke up with a blurry vision in one eye - it was the overnight symptoms of pink eye, which leaves thick residue on your eye. Today, it spread to both eyes. Just now, I was washing my face and I pushed in one of the tear ducts, and it freakin hurts. The infection must have spread there as well.
I checked the bottle, because that was the prime suspect of whatever could have infected my eye - I keep my place pretty clean of pollens, dust, etc. It was expired October of last year. 6 months over. No wonder my eyes are messed up.

Note - Always watch what medicine and such you take, especially when it is in liquid form. I’m on my way to get some anti-biotic eye drops.

… Come on, I have to write some generic, non-related rants once in a while…

Eye infection is still kinda there. itchy at times, with blurry vision (contact lenses..).

it’s getting better. I’ve been using eyedrops and such.
