If the Middle Easterners manage to wipe Israel off the map, so be it - that's the war in their own land, and I don't think we have any say in it whatsoever. If anything, the very existence of Israel is a messed up concept - you can't actually geo-politically cut off a piece of land from Palestine and give it to another group of people based on religious views. The creation and existence of Israel is a wrong concept to begin with. When you relate Iraq to local gang activity, you realize that by upsetting the balance the others will stir and capitalize. Sometimes you have to keep the bad guys occupied with each other to keep things neutralized. I agree. But, I'm all for the war. You need to create a foothold for things to come. Some might think we'd be better off not starting war. What would have happened since? Just the usual Saddam headlines, and ultimately, Israel would have went to war. If not for Israel, there would be no country with the balls to stand up to old school aggression. Let the U.S. take the example of bigger balled countries and dominate.
