The overall anti-semitism in Germany was quite less than in the Middle East, but that could have sparked more negative reaction from Germany, as the post-war consequences for Germany after WW1 did for them, which eventually caused the Second World War under Hitler’s 3rd Reich.

Australia – great choice, considering Australia is and was a British Commonwealth nation and would have been much more suitable for the Jewish people.

A part of USA is something that I often thought of too, and find it quite hypocritical that it did not happen. More Jewish communities could have been formed. But then, the Jews did want their own sovereign nation, and maybe some more traditional American folks would have been quite against it.

Great way to discuss though – this was exactly my purpose to write this controversial post – to read, discuss, think and enlighten each other.

Growing up i never really looked into why this was happening. Now i have looked into it. Like you say… you cant just lift the land of Israel and put it somwhere else. Even if that happened it would have to replace another piece of land which would cause more problems.
Is there no where in the world that would be willing to give up land for them? a deserted part of the world that they would be able to live? first thing that springs to mind is somewhere like australia which is huge but again how would the aussies feel? There must be somwhere.
I thought about what the nazis did to the jews and it was terrible. when the nazis were defeated i wonder why a part of Germany was not given up for the jews. I mean they were there already and Germany would of been in no position to argue about land being taken from them considering they wanted to take over the world. Would of been a lesson for them.
It makes sense why that part of the world was chosen for the jews. The americans wanting a foot in the middle east makes perfect sense to me. Why did the jews agree to it though? they must of realised it was a bad idea!!
And if the americans cared for the jews so much why not give them a small part of america? its not like central usa has no space. There is lots of land and the americans are always preaching how they are open to people wanting to live the american dream. yeah right.
Im totally against the idea that israel was created because the bible says it was meant to happen.
To me that doesnt justify israel being created. Then people in the west complain when muslim fanatics take their bible and twist texts so they do horrible things to people because Allah says “its right”. Its kind of the same thing isnt it?
I could talk about this all day but we wont find a solution. I want to learn more about the whole thing though still. Will be interesting to see what happens in the future.
