What’s Your Browser Home Page?
Suddenly comes to my attention that I’m very curious what most people put up as the first pages on their web browsers. Browsers tend to come with their own default. Safari comes with, I believe, apple.com, and Firefox has Google (skinned with the Firefox design however). Internet explorer usually goes to msn.com.
Here are my front-page settings.
- My main browser, Safari (which is probably the fastest and smoothest browser I’ve used) will open my company’s Google Applications portal. If you don’t know what this is, please check out this post about using Google Apps and Gmail as your primary solution. Mine’s located at http://portal.synchronous.ca. Jeffkee.com also has one set up at http://portal.jeffkee.com, although it’s not my front page.
- Because I have the fancy Logitech MX Revolution mouse, I can set up one of the many many buttons to open up the browser to any page I choose. Sadly enough, I’ve chosen Facebook for that button.
So. What are your browser’s front-pages set to go to?
