Blog of the Week - J.R.’s Seeds for Wealth
I’m starting a section called “Blog of the Week” from now on. It will be within Sunday~Tuesday of each week, and I will pick 1 blog per week to review.
Criteria for getting on this review system :
I need to like you and your blog. I won’t explain any more. I think you all know it if I like you and your blog.
J.R., or Jimmy Reimer, is a guy I met through blogging while back when I was first starting my blog. We sort of started off on the same foot in terms of where our blogs were, and we’ve been exchanging ideas for quite some time. We also have a bit of a rivalry going on too! I get lot of hits through SEO and links, and he has a lot of steady subscribers on his RSS feed!
Jimmy has some good insight on innovative ideas for developing blogs and operating other type of websites and making revenue from it.

This concept a unique idea by J.R., and I won’t even bother explaining it here. - $1,000,000 DO OR DIE Concept
This is a brand new thing he posted just today on how to make money online, regarding click lures, sex lures, etc. As I said, he has some interesting ideas. - Top Blogger Roll Call
Another concept that he came up with. This is an idea that helps others and thus helps himself, which is the true spirit of online communities. My blog was featured here already, and I’m doing my own version of reviews for him. - 9 Dirty Ways to Attract Traffic
J.R.’s ideas are much broader than my focuses. While my focus is web development, SEO, electronics, and linkages, he focuses a lot more on other ways to attract traffic, as you can see in this post. He talks more about the raw ways of attracting traffic online. His methods and ideas can be applied much more universally.
The greatest thing about his blogs is the diversity of tips as well as his unique creativeness that often blows my mind. It’s a blog worth checking out, and subscribing to!!
Hey Jeff, my place was a mess, and I had visitors check out TrafficBlogWar when I was using it as a test site. HAha. It’s like touring my joint and finding my on the shitter.
Thanks for the review, and you’re damn right there’s rivalry. haha Back in the day when your RSS subscriber count was higher then mine, I was so determined to get where you were. Now the tables have turned.

Visitor retention is where it’s at. But, random traffic is good too, they give me more adsense clicks I’ve noticed. In the end it’s all about giving back the million. You know?
Good work on this post Jeff. You touch on some great pieces that J.R. wrote on. The Blog Roll Call is a great theme. It’s catchy and has attraction. Great job J.R.

And yes I fully agree, that the ideas we share are great. To follow along with your excellent idea for Technorati favorites, and Janes header contest, I’ll be doing one as well.
It’s tough getting noticed in the first place, but even tougher to get lurker’s out into the open and participate. We’ll have to see.
