Speaking of Blackberry addict, I actually saw a guy with a broken hand that is protected by a cast on subway the other day. It was pretty pack and all seats were taken. A couple of mins later, he took out his blackberry and started checking his stuff (yes, he used his only available hand to hold his phone instead of the handle or something)..

He almost fell down a couple of times and interestingly enough he keep on checking it. Finally, a nice guy given up his seat to this blackberry addict so that he won't break the other hand. :P

Yeah, keep an eye on that. You probably get as much email as I do, so if you can stay at the minimum 7 MB mark, I might have to spring for that Nokia with blackberry capabilities at FIDO.

Why FIDO? Grandfathered CITY FIDO plan :D

I'm not sure - I just got this baby a few days ago. First 3 months is unlimited for $25/mth as a promo (and then after that it's either $25, $40, $60, $100 depending on usage) so I'll figure it out..

I don't do much heavy media. It's more for scheduling and being able to respond to emergency emails.

I had a FIDO HipTop for a while and I was totally hooked on it like crack, checking for emails every few minutes. Its a shame they are no longer developing the service by bringing in the Sidekick 3 or adding new features. At $20 bucks a month for unlimited surfing and data, it was a steal.

How many MB's do you burn through in a month Jeff?

Yup they're doing very good... It's a great product that started with a great concept.

personally I don't feel the need for a fancy palm computer or whatever - the blackberry is functional enough for me. l

8 of the 10 things you mentioned are true of my sister and her blackberry as well...i guess it really is addictive and that's why RIM has done so well !!

It is meant to do that on IE7 and Firefox. IE6 will simply scroll away, as it has poor PNG support and I couldn't be bothered to find and put in the javascript for it.

You should have consider buying the new one:)

Btw, i have trouble viewing this page in Firefox browser. Can you take a look. The problem happens with header floating level.
Header logo and navigation panel floats over text, and makes it impossible to read content.
