A Horrible Ending to a Great Trip
The airline lost one of my luggages. Thankfully my guitar in its hardshell case turned up fine, however, my big suitcase which contains my suit, toiletries, clothes, shoes, as well as some coffee liquer I bought for some friends, did NOT show up at the airport. I’m crossing my fingers that it has not been stolen or anything like that.
One thing that continues to amaze me is the complete lack of security at the baggage claim section. They have almost zero method of preventing anybody from taking another person’s suitcase and taking off. I know it sounds like negative thinking, and I really bloody well hope it is not stolen - that it is simply in transit somewhere on a wrong plane, to eventually make it back.
Yes, that was the shiny ending to my fabulous trip in Costa Rica.

sorry to hear that. that really sucks. there’s a store that resells lost luggage contents, i think that’s really messed up. btw, i’m getting a lot of traffic for “jeff kee” searches. i’m not sure if i’m more confused about seeing your name near the top of my google search referrals or that people actually clicked on my blog while doing a search for you. funny enough, when i did a search of your name all your funny comments showed up, which was entertaining in and of itself
HAHAHA all my ridiculous comments that my children should not see???
Ironic enough but I guess it can work that way sometimes.
My bag has been located - looks like I am getting it back, the only question is “WHEN”.
you were blogging while in Costa Rica? That’s hardcore blogger.
Well I was on a business trip after all, so I had plenty of time on my computer. Wasn’t very difficult at all.
This is terrible. I hope this make you feel better … my friend once lost the luggage, after 3 days, it’s was return safely. usually this is just a misplace.
That is why I try to pack everything in a carry-on. The key word here is try…
