I’m sure so many people have been talking about this, and I will pitch my 2 cents in to this concept which is one of the greatest pinnacles of Web 2.0 – “Segregation of Data and Presentation”
You guys are all going “What…???” if you don’t know much about web design. And even if you do, if have been focusing only on the small stuff like how to make that PNG show on IE or how to apply transparency on objects, you won’t get this right away – here’s an opportunity …

As irrelevant as this topic may be to this blog itself, it is a public health issue as well as an issue that a lot of healt-conscious guys are interested in, so let’s give it.
I’ve been getting into my gym spree quite a bit. To get more out of my workout, and to fit more nutrition into my busy schedule, I purchased a gigantic bucket (literally, this package comes with a handle on the bucket) worth 6 pounds of protein shake powder, and 39 grams per serving of 2 scoops. …

So today I noticed something very interesting, and here’s the screencap of it.

That’s right, the Google.com site had “iGoogle” instead of “Google” on it. Also, I realized the URL always forwards from google.com or google.ca to google.com/ig and google.ca/ig!!!
Is this one of their their playful gestures to fool around with the header image like they do with holidays and special events etc.?
Or is this some kind of a hint towards a more “friendly and cooperative” relationship between Apple and Google? Or has i+anything become a common word with no copyright …

The Sey-To-Sky highway, which is the prettier name for Hwy-99 that runs through British Columbia to connect Vancouver to  Whistler (with Squamish, Britannia Beach, Porteau Cove, Lion’s Bay, Horseshoe Bay on the way) is becoming the next big strip of development. As many of you may be aware, the 2010 Winter Olympic games are being held in Whistler BC, and the transportation/accomodation infrastructure between Vancouver and Whistler is going through major developments.
The Sea-to-Sky Highway, which was considered a rather dangerous and difficult highway due to the fact that it’s too …

Today I’d like to disucss the trend that continues to shape the living dynamics of the upper-class citizens of the 1st world countries, and that is a movement that Mr. Ford started way back when. He invented the assembly line, and his concept was simple – get each guy to do only a certain part of the job, become really good at it, and as a collective, the finished product will be made. It was a revolution in terms of increasing productivity and achieving a higher level of efficiency, as …

The NHL playoffs officially began today, and the Vancouver Canucks are in it. Their first series start with the Dallas Stars, a solid hockey franchise from Texas.
I’m not a hockey nerd in the sense of knowing the stats of all the players etc. like some of my friends, but I sure do get into the atmosphere of it when the games are on, especially the playoffs. I am usually OK with missing regular season games and often I never even keep track of when they are, but playoff season is …

“It’s like uncovering the ash-ridden lungs of a cancer patient – he may look perfectly fine on the skin and what not, but when you get to the depths of this, the hideous and low-class segments of the city are barren and wasted – adding a black spot to the elegance and the beauty of the city.”
It’s been a few years since the 2010 Vancouver Olympics was confirmed. My home country, Korea, was in the running to but they lost the bid. But hey, I’m in Vancouver, and I get …
