My Obsessive Thoughts - Blog Tag

April 9th, 2007 by Jeff Kee | General | leave a response, or trackback

So there is another tagging activity going on in this blog community of ours, and this time it is on Obsessive Thoughts - I must list 5 things that I care and obsess most about these days. I was tagged by Gary Lee.

  • Business - I obsess about business overall. It’s not just in web design etc., but also at the overall scope of it. I look at my finances, plan out where I will be in a month, 6 months, etc. Also I am very dedicated to the clients I have that I must serve. I am always on the lookout for new ideas or new technology, and I am always reading as much as I can (whether it be other blogs or internet resources, or books and magazines).
  • Health - While I’m not a buff roid-monkey type of guy at all, I do care for my health quite a bit. I try to go to the gym at least 3 times a week, and I also eat healthy. I actually went over a year without going to McDonalds. Recently I went there on a day when I was really stressed out etc.
  • Spirituality - Yes, behind the shrewd eager businessman, lies a much more personable and spiritual Jeff Kee. While I’m not an unrealistic dreamer of any sort, I have great respect for life and people, and I need to live with philosophy at all times, and with a clear purpose.
  • AJAX - Ajax is so freakin’ cool. It’s the wave of the new Web 2.0 stuff - interactivity, less page re-loads, less wait, less bandwidth, cooler look and feel.
  • Friends - It sounds really generic, but I do care for my friends a lot. While I sometimes run out of patience, I am always willing to extend my hand out to help those in need of my company or support. It is a difficult thing to achieve, as I am a bit of a loner sometimes (not the sad type, but the fabulous type of loner who appreciates and enjoys time to himself), and there are often conflicts in terms of what I should be spending time on at any given point. But I do my best, and that’s part of the loyal trait that Koreans have - I’m no exception. I do go out of my way to help those close to me.

Alright. Tagging time - the moment you dreaded. “Is it going to be me???”  I will tag Danielle Nagami, Tyler Cruz, Dan & Jennifer, J.R., and Jane May. You’ve been tagged by Jeff Kee.

naw Gary was tagged by somebody else, but yes, Gary tagged me. I usually don’t bother with the tagging but I couldn’t refuse a polite tag.

cool thoughts Jeff,

Hey it’s been a while, you’ll know how it goes soon enough with what I’m up to.

This is a good tag, I’ll do it.

Hey Jeff, thanks for the tag, and thanks for sharing. Ok, I think I’ll focus on “passions” and stay away from the OCD. :-)

Ditto on the spirituality topic, it’s interesting how that perspective has changed my life in the last 5 or so years that Jennifer and I have been together.

We’re actually about to revive our old site about personal growth and spirituality and bloggify (is that a word?) it. Just haven’t had the time to do it yet. Planning to get it out there within the next couple of weeks.

Have an awesome day!
Dan
